Little Shop Of Horrors on Broadway?
My kids love this movie. I was wondering if they still have the show on broadway, or if they are planning to? Thanks.
It’s not currently playing on Broadway anymore. The most recent revival was in 2003, and there are currently no plans for reviving it any time soon. However, it is very popular in stock and amateur productions, so keep looking online for productions in your area.
You should know, however, that the stage version and the movie version have different endings. I don’t want to give anything away, but you can look online to read the differences and see if you think your children would be willing to accept the differences. Not knowing your children, I can’t make that judgment.
Of course, I’m assuming that you’re talking about the musical version of the film from the 1980′s starring Rick Moranis, Ellen Green, and Steve Martin. If you’re talking about the original black and white film by Roger Corman then there are even MORE differences.
