How To Become The Next Phantom Of The Opera on Broadway ?
1. Get involved with school, community and amateur theatre to get experience.
1a. Take singing, acting and dance lessons.
2. Go to a recognised drama school or university, work hard and get a good degree in musical theatre.
3. Get a great agent.
4. Start building up a resume of professional theatre (regional, national, off-off Broadway, off-Broadway)
5. Audition for as many Broadway shows as you can.
6. Take any Broadway parts that you might happen to be offered.
You can’t go into the acting career wanting to play one particular role, because it doesn’t work that way. You’ll have to work incredibly hard towards being on Broadway, and have a lot of luck besides.
