Can you find original Broadway musicals on tape or DVD?
Hi, for my thesis on the Broadway musical I need the original version tape or DVD! Chicago, Los Poducers … (Not so the Richard Gere and Renee Zellweger film version) Does anyone have an idea where to find them?
Although there would be very difficult to find because most are recorded illegally.You usually can find videos on Youtube though. The musicals I know that can be found in the woods, Pippin, Sweeney Todd, Peter Pan, passion, Sunday in the Park with George, Kiss Me Kate, Elaine Strich released, victoria.cats moat and victor and Jesus Christ Superstar are two others. equity in people frown recording and press action actors could cahrges if your caught so no recommend this. and most of the illegal tapes are bad anyway.btw very Legally Blonde was recorded for broadcast only on MTV.
