Am I confused or did Elia Kazan pass thru Ft. Warren,WY enroute to Hollywood in 1945?

While serving in the Receiving Company for Ft. Warren, I recall being introduced to Elia Kazan by another staff member who had been in show business in New York City. My memory is that Mr. Kazan had been recently inducted and was
being released to go to Hollywood to direct films, so his term
of service would have been very brief.

Seriously doubt it – - – never heard of it, Elia avoided military service and was never inducted – - – during the 1940′s he was way to busy getting his career started first on stage and with documentary films…
