Tony Award winner for Broadway and West End musical Wicked is an adaptation of the novel's best-selling excited Bad: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West by Gregory Maguire and a classic novel parallel story of L. One might be tempted to think all this destroys the work, but eventually improves, a bright light on many ironies of history and intertwined levels social commentary. But Wicked the musical score is very thematic, taking in some senses more resemblance to a soundtrack of a traditional musical score.
The musical debuted on Broadway on October 30, 2003. It was produced by Universal Pictures and directed by Joe Mantello, with musical staging by Wayne Cilento. Wicked tells the story of Elphaba was born with skin emerald green, smart, fiery and misunderstood, the future Wicked Witch of the West and its relationship with Glinda, the Good Witch of the North, beautiful, ambitious and very popular. Their friendship through their struggles and dispositoins opposing viewpoints, rivalry over the love between people of same interest, their reactions to the Wizard's corrupt government, and finally Elphaba's public fall from grace. His story of friends is just one of several stories and subplots in a carefully crafted musical adventure full of surprises. Music birilliantly and lyrics are selected and introduced by Stephen Schwartz. Wicked is a truly heartfelt story of friendship and love. As Richard Zoglin of Time Magazine " said, "If every musical had a brain, a heart and courage of Wicked, Broadway really would be a magical place!"
Malo led nominations applies to all Broadway shows a total of ten nominations and he won a Tony Award in three of them: Best Performance by a Leading Actress in a Musical – Idina Menzel, Best Scene Design – Eugene Lee. The musical won the most nominations and Drama Desk Awards any parade of this season. Wicked final awards announced May 16, 2009 was:

In late January 2009, Wicked began to show in San Francisco. A mischievous second tour of the United States and Canada began on March 7, 2009 at the Barbara B. Mann Performing Arts Hall in Fort Myers, FL. Now the tour continues through Memphis, TN, Tempe, AZ, Tulsa, OK, San Diego, CA, Austin, TX, Seattle, WA, Nashville, TN, Des Moines, IA, Denver, CO, Wichita, KS, Kansas City, KS, Cleveland, OH, Schenectady, New York, Providence, RI. Other cities are expected Wicked in 2010: Philadelphia, PA, Syracuse, NY, Greenville, SC, Dayton, OH, Miami, FL, Richmond, VA Durham, North Carolina, Toledo, OH, St. Louis, MO.
