Lost Broadway And More

Obviously my last question was a bit misconstued?

For those of you who have not read my last qestion this subject, here are details. I am a singer, but still a little green in the business. I can not seem to breathe properly to get the right sound in my songs. Unfortunately I have entitled my last question wrong and now people seem to think I'm actually losing my voice. Well, I'm not, I'm just trying to figure out how I could make my voice stronger and Broadway. " When I said I was losing my voice I wanted to say my voice is weak because I can not breathe properly, I'm not taking medical problems. I want to be able to sing a song and a great sound! The one I'm considering making it, "Mary Did You Know", since the yield is December and this is my favorite Christmas song. I've never sung before, however, and people promises to be bigger. I do not want to ridicule what they need to become a stonger "Respiro." Can anyone tell me how to improve my diaphragmatic breathing? Thanks for your help!

First, how many old are you? If you're in your teens, your voice has not matured enough to be "rich" sounding. Not all voices is meant to have a "Broadway" sound. I am a soprano with more than 30 years of experience in musicals. A year of singing lessons may not be enough. Try this, lie on the floor with arms at his side. In this position, your body will be relaxed and be easier to breathe deeply. Slowly breathe through the nose without letting your chest moving up and down. Your stomach area should expand. You should feel your chest expanding sideways. Exhale slowly and evenly, make a "sssssss" sound. Doing this will help you focus on breathing correctly. You can also do this exercise standing with a lighted candle just inches from his mouth. Try to breathe without turning off the flame. Try not to let the flame much. You may have to learn that their voice is not the intention of the band. It can be a beautiful "bell-like" soprano. If you still want to belt the song, try it in a lower key or a key that fits your best range. Good luck to you!
