Karaoke is not just to spend time at your local bar and casually singing-drunk-o lyrics in front of a more casual crowd. This is competition. It's about winning. These awards, trophies and money. karaoke contests have become as popular as karaoke, itself.

Most have karaoke contests Best Male, Best Female and Best Duo category for singers who can wow a panel judges with her vocal skills and knowledge of the letter. But in a karaoke contest, you can not just impulsively go on stage, grabs the microphone, hit a sour note few things wrong with the letter and points to make the audience laugh. This is not a game. Singing the lyrics to prerecorded music is now the world of entertainment baby!

And in show business, it would make a complete show. It is not just singing a song and excel in their lyrics. It is complete submission. The song I chose is the heart of that performance, however. So pick a song you like and know in depth, with lyrics that could sing in his sleep. But no matter how much you like a song, go if you're out of your vocal range, or if your trip songs of the tongue.

Make sure that the song and lyrics to suit your voice. If your voice has a twang, go for a country song, no "Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody." Is it his deep voice? Maybe a song by Rod Stewart would be best for you. Do you have range and power? A melody Broadway, with its dramatic melody and lyrics, it might be a good choice.

Have fun, make eye contact with the public, judges and the work of the stage. That does not mean you need to breathe fire like Gene Simmons, or have a lot of choreographed dancers in tow, like Madonna. Means to move around. Use gestures and body language illustrate points, but corny. Bring the song and lyrics to life.

If you do not win, be courteous and professional. You are not able to be a diva yet. And if you do win, you can only give you the confidence to choose another song, singing practice their letters, and have a chance to enter in another karaoke contest!
