lots of the 70s stuff was, IMO, better than the 80s wave of glam.
and check out Steve Harley & Cockney Rebel, Roxy Music, Faces, and Humble Pie.
And 80s Alice Cooper, but 70s Alice was a huge influence on lots of the 80s sleaze/glam scene.
