Hollywood Party Invitations

I’m going to have a sweet 16 Hollywood themed birthday party and I need some help planning it?
I need to know how to decorate, what to wear and games and prizes and ideas for invitations, anyone with ideas please tell me all help wanted.
I planned a hollywood themed party for my younger sisters 14th birthday and came up with some cool ideas.
I would definitely do a red carpet leading to wherever you are holding the party (or red paper from one of those big roles if your on a tighter budget.) Send out elegant invites that look like ones to the oscars or some other major hollywood event and tell your guests to dress in their red carpet best.
Enlist the help of siblings or other family members with cameras and fake microphones to snap pictures and ‘interview’ them as they walk the red carpet to your party. Then you can buy the cheap 90 cent plastic picture frames and print out the pictures of them at their most glam moment and write out a thank you note on the back, and put it in the frame and voila-party favor & thank you in one!
For my sisters party we found some of the wall stick ups (some of them are under the name FatHeads) of marilyn monroe and paris hilton, etc. It turned out pretty well. To bring yourself into it a bit more at craft stores that sell scrapbook supplies they have these strips that look like film negatives (but bigger) that you can put pictures in. Take some fun shots of yourself to put in them, then hang them all over the walls.
We used red & black with some silver as a basic color scheme for the party and it did look very hollywood and glamourous.
We kept the tone a little more elegant for a while, having bartenders (me and friends…) serving ‘martinis’ (i saw a really cute idea on a show, they called them “sixteen-is” which i loved; come up with your own recepie for a cool looking virgin drink, maybe a shirley temple with a splash of pineapple & orange juice? ) with little finger foods set out on trays. then later we cranked up the music and turned on some cool disco balls and flashing color lights and whatnot to make it into an after-party club atmosphere.
everyone had a lot of fun and it turned out really well.
hopefully some of these ideas helped you out with your planning! good luck!!
