Kaysen’s book is awesome. Just off the top of my head I can think of a couple of differences…In the book, Lisa and Suzanna weren’t with Daisy when she killed herself and Polly had screaming fits.
I think in the movie, they wrote it like the professor she was dating was married and that she ran into his wife and daughter when the group went to the ice cream parlor. I don’t remeber reading that in the book.
I think Jolie did great in the role of Lisa. She deserved the Oscar she won.
