The closest airport to this area of Los Angeles is through (IATA: LAX) From here you can either catch a cab, shuttle or bus. The four main bus systems that stop at LAX are the MTA or the Santa Monica Big Blue Bus, Culver City Bus and the Torrance Transit.
There are plenty of good places to eat, but for a bit of a funkier mood, check out Hamburger MaryÕs. A legendary spot in West Hollywood located just around the corner at 8288 Santa Monica Blvd (just east of La Cienega); they boast the reputation for having the greatest drag queen bingo game in town every Wednesday night. There are two games, at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. and often entail celebrity co-hosts. But when it comes to Happy Hour Hamburger MaryÕs certainly doesnÕt disappoint either. Smatterings of appetizers from hot wings, to nachos, to mozzarella sticks are all $4. They offer $4 well martinis and even $5 margaritas. It takes place every day from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. And be sure to check out the $3 Bloody Mary special and $1 Mimosa special every Sunday during brunch hours.
