craft tape is stickier. If you use in on skin it could damage your skin when removed. it will damage some delicate dress fabric by ripping then when removed or by leaving a staining sticky adhesive residue. Fashion tape is less sticky and shouldn’t damage skin when removed, and is designed so it won’t damage delicate dress fabrics nor should it leave a residue or stain on the dress.
