Hollywood Famous

How come no one talks about famous Hollywood cartoon characters anymore?
You know, like classic Disney characters like Mickey Mouse, or Looney Tunes or Woody Woodpecker or Droopy or Tom and Jerry, etc. Is it because the companies who own the rights to these characters release most of the vintage Hollywood cartoons to DVD these days?
Hello ,
The lack of exposure to these Classics , being stereotyped as “Old School” and not worthy of perusal , the companies who own the rights to these classics may have problems with distribution or may have some licensing issues with the release in either a DVD format or on-air restrictions of some sort .
