How is the transtion going for MPTF nursing home residents who must me relocated due to the economy?
It is sad the the motion picture industry cannot raise the funds to keep these entertainers and there
supporters in these homes. Sign of the rough economic times.

I think the question itself is misleading. The MPTF isn’t trying to relocate residents because of the economy. MPTF board and management are seeking to close the acute care and long-term care units because they no longer believe in the MPTF’s historic continuum of care mission that promised to “take care of our own”. If the board and management believed in the mission the money would be raised. Period.
