Paddle Surfing: 101

Paddle surfing is not all that dissimilar from surfing, from a mechanical standpoint, the main difference is the paddleboarder is on a longer, wider, fatter board, that he or she stands on and uses a long paddle to move through the water.

Stand up Paddle boarding began many years ago in Hawaii and is now finally becoming tremendously accepted in South Florida. It obtained a great boost when shots of ‘the god of big wave surfing’ – Laird Hamilton -, tearing up the famed Teahupoo wave in Tahiti, started showing up.

He can be seen taking a cruise on his paddle board close to his Malibu residence, and you can be seen tearing it up on the beach in Hollywood Florida!

We do not need a deposit for Paddle Board rentals. Make sure to be on time for your reservation, as we cannot extend your rental for late arrivals.
