Many times when people sell their house themselves they end up dealing with people who simply just want to take a walk through the house. Hence, they are wasting your time, and as the saying goes, ‘time is money’.
For your own safety and for the sake of selling your home in a reasonable time, then you should strongly consider using a real estate agent. If you do decide to, make sure that you find an agency that has sold houses in the area beforehand so that they know what to expect. Also, find a real estate agency that is reputable. Working with a reputable real estate agency will increase your chances of selling your home with success.
