Taxi Costs in California, USA?
I’m going for my honeymoon this Summer in California (hollywood / beverly hills area). I am contemplating hiring a car abroad or taxiing everywhere.
I do not know my way around in California, and also car parking in our hotel would cost approx $200 for the duration of our stay. We stand to save several hundred pounds not hiring a car.
Is it possible to go everywhere by taxi and for it to not cost a fortune? And ideally be cheaper than hiring a car?
Unfortunately, taxis are not very cheap in L.A…..especially if you plan to travel anywhere outside L.A….which it sounds like you are… you could easily spend $200 in a day if not careful……(Some really crooked taxi drivers with their short cuts)….I recommend you map out some places you would really enjoy going, then rent a car….. doesn’t have to be fancy….try budget rent a car, or enterprise…….book in advance…. then try going to
