Bukowski’s Ham on Rye?
I’m reading it now. I’m really enjoying it, but I’m having a hard time finishing it because it can be very depressing.
What did everyone think of it?
However, Hollywood and Pulp I read in about a day.
=the Depression was a tough time for many. Some say this was his best book ever. He surely had a tough time of things which is probably why he turned to the bottle. Yes I found it depressing as well. Some folks think he exaggerated his story to get his thoughts across.
