Broadway Theaters

Is there a dress code for the theaters of Broadway? Can a person just go in sneakers, jeans and no shirt?
I will go to the Minskoff Theatre in August.
I have been to five shows on Broadway. I guess you could say that everything depends on the demonstration. if you go to see a they show as waitresses, prolly a good idea to wear, all else will. However, if you go to the Lion King or high fidelity, which would be very strange disguise. do not despair if you do a small fashion mess up because most of the time you're sitting in a dark theater while everyone is looking everywhere except you. fun, New York is incredible.

Reprising their roles from the original London company are Colm Wilkinson (Valjean), Michael… |

Evita (1978 Original Broadway Cast) $19.97 Evita was Andrew Lloyd Webber’s last show with Tim Rice before he went on to projects with less interesting collaborators, so it’s no surprise that it remains his most consistently involving and rewarding work. Loosely based on the life of Eva Peron, the charismatic wife of post-World War II Argentine president Juan Peron, Rice’s compelling story of one woman’s rise from poverty to power is comple… |

Verna – USO Girl (Broadway Theatre Archive) [VHS] $13.98 Academy Award winner Sissy Spacek is Verna USO Girl, a kindhearted – but not particularly talented-member of a performing troupe in World War II Belgium. She wins the heart of an American soldier memorably played by William Hurt. “Verna:USO Girl” takes an entertaining look at the camaraderie between USO entertainers and combat troops. Adapted by Albert Innaurato from Paul Gallico’s short story…. |
