What do you wear to a Broadway show?
I will be visiting New York this summer, and I have tickets to see a Broadway show. My problem I'm just a jeans and T-shirt gal a bit, and I wonder what is the appropriate dress code for a show. Please help! By the way, my idea of reallllly Dress is nice to jeans and a shirt with the pumps, so a more accurate answer will be appreciated.
The theater is not an elegant event as it used to be. If you go to opening night or special event, then yes, in style, but if you are only going to see a show, her outfit is not very important. Do not dress down, by any means, but jeans, a T-shirt and pumps are more than acceptable. Most people in the audience are tourists Some will be dressed, some. No, do not worry so much about fashion as you're doing, just enjoy the show.
