If you're an NBA fan, then you're probably an avid collector of sports memorabilia. One of the most popular types of NBA collectibles are those with an autograph of the best athletes in the sport. When sold in a specialty store, autographs are often outside the price range for many and sometimes there are concerns about its authenticity. Therefore, one of the most popular and less expensive to collect autographs is through the mail. The best part of all is that the only cost involved is that of postage stamps.

NBA athletes, in general, tend to be too complacent with fans and usually willing to sign an autograph. The best place to get an NBA player is through their franchise team, who frequently change addresses and therefore the most reliable way to make sure your fan mail reaches its destination.

During the height of his career, many NBA athletes are inundated with requests for autographs. Therefore, it can often be difficult to answer each letter individually or in a timely manner. When requesting an autograph, always send a SASE (self-addressed stamped envelope) with sufficient postage to accommodate shipping return.
