Broadway Big Band

Suggestions needed: Broadway audition song for the summer of '42?
What is a good audition song Broadway for a work like Summer of '42? Male, tenor, a bit high gable. I like to sing songs as black as the Prayer of the Comfort Putnam. Or do rock songs like Touch Spring Awakening's Me. I need help. Summer of '42 is a coming of age type of game where the dudes are like 15 years or so. It's gender is a kind of big band, since it is from 1942 (before the war?) But not in the strict sense. I need help! : D
Well, these are contemporary, but it might work: I Want to Make Magic – Fame Proud Lady – I also like Baker's wife I Talk to the trees in Paint Your Wagon, but I'm not sure if that's what you're looking for. Or the night of my nights of Kismet? I love Spring Awakening but you run the risk of being overstated because of its popularity. You could also try some of Jersey Boys? It Just a thought. Good luck, Marianne
