Broadway Backstage

Is there a site that is not cast backstage.com?
Hi I'm a freshman in high school art in New York LaGuardia (also known as the Fame school) and I just know this girk which was on Broadway for the thirteen shows and asked him how he got the audition and I backstage.com said he went to the only thing is you have to pay for it and I have no money right now, HELP! is there any other place like this is that, except for free? I tried talenthunter.com but also tp pay for that too. Thankks
I am in New York as well. It is very difficult to find a free website with auditions that are worth it. Craigslist has things in particular plays off-off-Broadway and students or short, but you have to sift through a pile of rubbish and you have to be very Watch out for scams or shadow / unprofessional people. http://www.actorsaccess.com has a lot of good auditions, and is only $ 2/submission, which is not bad if you want be really demanding. Otherwise it's $ 68/year for unlimited submission, it really works. Of course it does not matter if you do not have $ 68, but good to know for the future. http://www.nycasting.com is more or less the same price.
