Broadway An American Musical
What Broadway musical should I see?
I've asked a question similar to this before. I'm taking a trip to New York sometime in May or June. We are planning to see a Broadway show while we are there and have reduced to two options. First, Rock of Ages, the show looks great done and it seems it would be fun for my whole family. Second, the musical adaptation of the upcoming Green Day American Idiot. I'm not a die-hard fan Hard Green Day, but I like to listen to their music and this looks like it could be a promising show. Now I know that these are not the typical movie theater options. My first election was the next to normal, but I've seen on youtube. Has anyone seen the first race of American Idiot in the Berkeley Rep and / or Rock of Ages on Broadway? Really I wonder what it would be better to see.
I have worked in Off-Broadway theater, where there was Rock of Ages is running and it was a great show! Was very funny, very well done and all the great round. Although I have to say it's definitely very focused on adults. It has lots of very bawdy bits and much of "Adult" language. So depending on the rest of his family that this could affect the election.
