Why are most of the black actresses considered pretty by hollywood have mixed heritage?
Most are half-caucasian and half-black, like Vanessa Williams, Halle Berry, Beyonce, etc. Are black actresses with part-white features really more attractive?
because as of now white people still call the shots, especially dominating world-wide media, so they put out images of what they believe is beautiful, and it becomes accepted as truth by the rest. that’s why you have so many people trying to “look white”. black women straightening their hair, asians cutting into their eyelids.
so when a woman is part white, usually she inherits anglo features that the media tells us is what we should strive for
